Button Bender was invented by Florida native Scotty Cockerham who has spent his entire life immersed in every avenue of the music industry since the age of three. It was this passion for music that continues to grow and led him to create this amazing product! His history and experience with music includes working as a quality manager at Gold Tone Music Group, performing artist, studio musician, musical product development, and much more!
As a multi-instrumentalist he draws inspiration from the many instruments he plays to create useful products for musically minded people. Scotty firstly wanted to create something of high quality that he would enjoy using himself, so he put his experience to work producing innovative American-made products that are sure to bring enjoyment every time you use it.
Every Button Bender is built in a small barn out of USA sourced materials. Scotty assembles, finishes, and quality tests each unit to the same degree as the musical instruments themselves, before it ultimately gets boxed up and shipped out for other players to enjoy. I play music everyday – mostly at the Grand ‘Ole Opry. The only thing that get’s me an invite back is the smooth vibrato of the button bender.
